were associated with the fertilizer, EPA developed a policy to take the pressure off Milwaukee
and use all sludge as a fertilizer. EPA's John Walker, one of the first people to discover the
treatment processes didn't work, was a key player in the public relations campaign to push toxic
sludge as a fertilizer in spite of the fact EPA has proven that exposure to the pollutants could
kill you.

DID EPA SLUDGE EXPERTS SET OUT TO KILL US WITH THE FINAL 1993 SLUDGE DUMPING
REGULATION which states exposure to the pollutants could kill us - 503.9(t)? In 1989, EPA
identified 21 chemicals in sludge that cause cancer, five induce cancer when inhaled. In its
Guide to the Part 503 Risk Assessment, EPA stated it did not evaluate any of these chemicals as
a cancer inducing agent for the exposure pathways evaluated. EPA also states that the Table III
list of pollutants recommended for further study in the preamble to the proposed propose
regulation were not the only pollutants for which EPA subsequently made a positive
determination that it lacked adequate data to establish a safe level.

Virginia is a good example of the governments taxpayer funded chemical and bio-terrorism program in action. The December 2005

chemical and bio-terrorism victims and the governments lack of concern.
Studies by the wastewater treatment industry show a career in wastewater and sludge/biosolids treatment is a
very dangerous occupation. Studies also show Class A sludge treatment is the most deadly
exposure route to the public. Since EPA lacks data on most chemicals and some pathogens,
there are no studies which show sludge/biosolids are safe for use as a fertilizer or soil
amendment.
