Spirillaceae; H. cinae´di causes proctitis and colitis in homosexual men and has been implicated in septicemia in
neonates and immunocompromised patients; H. pylo´ri causes gastritis and pyloric ulcers and has been implicated in
gastric carcinogenesis.
